This is my favorite still image from any All Star game ever. KG was my favorite player in the league at the time, and fans could tell that he and Duncan were forging a fierce rivalry with each other early in their careers. I thought the Timberwolves unis were the coolest in the league at the time also, the black alternates in particular.
Of course, the coolest part of the photo was the footwear. Timmy had some amazing white Flights, that were often too expensive for many kids growing up at the time, myself included. KG had the Nike Air 3s, an amazing shoe when they first dropped. I was lucky enough to get a pair of the white and blue Air 3s as a kid, and still remember them and this photo, to this day.
