Dwyane Wade turns 33 today, although his body and knees are probably those of a 50 year old. Sometimes we forget he’s a bit older then LeBron James and Chris Bosh, even though they all joined the league at the same time, due to him going to college and missing a year due to ineligibility. There is no denying he has been one of the premier shooting guards the NBA has seen and a rare case of playing for the same team for his entire career (up to this point). Even this year, which many considered to be a decline, his numbers are on par with his career average. Wade also lead the Heat to a Championship before LeBron took his talents to South Beach. Through his career he also has been the face of whatever sneaker brand he was representing. A member of Converse for six years with his own signature shoe, Michael Jordan himself recruited Wade over to Jordan Brand. After being the new face of Jordan he wore the current Air Jordan model in 2010 and transitioned to his own signature model, the Jordan Fly Wade. After his contract with Jordan expired Wade increased his Chinese appeal and is now the face of Li-Ning with his signature Way of Wade. Hopefully Wade plays for years to come so we can see his wife Gabrielle Union continue to bust his balls.
