Just putting this out there, Lost in Translation is one of my favorite movies. Bill Murray, Scarlett Johannson, Japan, what’s there not to like? One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Bill’s character, Bob Harris, is waiting for Scarlett in a Tokyo hospital. Sitting in the waiting area he has a conversation with an elderly man while rocking a pair of Nike x HTM Air Wovens. The scene is even funnier as the ladies in the background are trying to contain their laughter at the dialogue between the two men. As the scene ends we see more of the Air Wovens and notice Scarlett spotting a pair of classic Chucks. Maybe Bill was gifted a pair of the rare HTM Air Woven’s when streetwear god and 1/3 of HTM Hiroshi Fujiwara appeared briefly in an earlier scene.
