It is very clear that adidas is committed to both performance and lifestyle product that is excellently designed and attempts to subvert the American consumer’s seemingly predisposed preference for that brand that uses a checkmark for a logo. adidas has made some great strides in recent years, which at the very least made us all take notice. 2015 was another step in the right direction and it was headlined by a performance running shoe, believe it or not. Boost cushioning is an actual game-changer, and that’s coming from a longtime runner. It isn’t the first sneaker to utilize Boost cushioning, but it is definitely the best to use it so far.

Coupled with a seamless Primeknit upper and minimal heel counter, the adidas Ultra Boost really is special. Even before Kanye wore it in all white, the Ultra Boost ushered in a paradigm shift in terms of performance, and the cosign of the new adidas pop culture front-man certainly didn’t hurt its lifestyle appeal. I don’t think there is a more comfortable sneaker on the market, so if you can get your feet into a pair I would highly recommend it.
