Nike Air Max 90 “Doernbecher”

In 2008 some guy named Mark Smith (Creative Director of Special Projects for Nike and lasering master) helped design this special Air Max 90 for that year’s Doernbecher project. The 5th year anniversary of the partnership between Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Nike these aren’t too crazy but stood out with its simplicity. Starting with a white base in mesh and leather, Orange Blaze is the main accent to the shoe. Making these special is the addition of a lasered hand on the left sneaker’s side panel and the Doernbecher logo on the right tongue. Also a unique print on the liner and multi-colored (melted crayon) outsole completed the look of this Doernbecher model.
