Staple x Nike WMNS Air Max 90 “Navigation”

Staple and Nike working together and making good looking sneakers, no way (/sarcasm). In 2004, Staple designed two versions of the Air Max 90 nicknamed the “Navigation” pack that represented his hometown of New York City. The women’s version is the lighter and really better version of the two. The concept for the design was the thought of walking around the city. The overlay is a lasered overhead map of New York City. Other details included a speckled cement midsole and hiking laces. The popularity of these might’ve been why a year later Nike SB had him work on a special Dunk.
