Ray Allen’s Jordan XX1 Yellow Suede PE Up For Auction

Ray Allen's Jordan XX1 Yellow Suede PE Seattle Supersonics

It would be hard to find someone that would argue against Ray Allen having some of the greatest Player Exclusives Sneakers of all time. If you need proof, here’s 40 of Sugar Ray’s Best Air Jordan PE sneakers.

Now that we are on the same page, there are a couple more points to be made. The Air Jordan XX1 is completely underrated, overlooked, and almost completely forgotten by the modern day sneaker enthusiast. As discussed on Outside The Box Episode 2, it has no on-court performances to help sell its legacy to anyone who came into the sneaker game after it launched in 2006. However, there is this one colorway. Presumably, these Ray Allen Jordan XX1 PEs are limited to just 1 or 2 pairs and are up for auction right now.

Aside from the obvious colorway and rarity, these also have some performance significance. On April 19, 2006, Ray Allen and the Seattle Supersonics closed out the 2005-2006 NBA season against the Denver Nuggets. Allen led the Sonics to victory by dropping 7 3-pointers to set (at the time) a new record for 3-pointers made in a season. If you feel like owning a pair of history, you can bid on this autographed pair now.
