To celebrate, here’s a brief history of Nike’s relationship collaborating with Levi’s:

  • Nike Dunk Low Reese Forbes, 2002

The OG of denim Nikes, one of the first ever SB (skateboarding) branded Dunks, and one of the most beloved releases ever. We covered these jawns in detail back in December. Read the full story by clicking here.

  • Air Jordan 1 Retro x Levi’s, 2008

The third rarest pair on the list at just 2,323 units released. Released in a set, the shoes came with jeans and a t-shirt to complete the fit.

  • Nike SB Omar LR, 2012

This time around Nike and Levi’s released a micro collection. The least known of the group were these low-key Omar Salazar SB’s. Unassuming at its finest.

  • Nike SB Dunk Low, 2012

These red bottom beauties also follow the understated theme of 2012’s collection with the main detail being a stitched swoosh. Levi’s crushed these Dunks, period.

  • Nike SB Dunk Low HS, 2012

Levi’s pulled out a slight color scheme shift from the black/red Dunk Low for this rare pair. An American flag sock liner is featured inside along with a nice textured denim. In true HyperStrike fashion, these joints were limited to 500 pairs.

  • Nike Dunk High Reese Forbes, 2017

Recently, Nike has been re-releasing classic Dunks with ‘flip-flopped’ cuts (see the Reese Forbes Dunk Low above). Can’t go wrong with two tone denim. You might have thought on the first Forbes Dunk post, “those aren’t Levi’s colabs.” You’re right, they’re not. But the influence is just too strong so we had to show love (we won’t include the Bruce Springsteen Dunks though).

  • Jordan 4 x Levi’s, 2018

We told you already, can’t go wrong with two tone denim! This Jordan x Levi collection was heavily hyped and executed flawlessly. Allegedly two more colorways are dropping later this year. Visit our Instagram @Sneakerhistory to win this pair in your size!
