Chance The Rapper’s either loved or hated with few choosing a middle ground. I’ll unapologetically tell you that I think Chance breathes fresh air into Hip-Hop. His mixtapes built hype, his first major album release won all kinds of awards and he’s straight up a good human. The route he took to success was long and done mostly on his own, much like how athletes enter their respective leagues. Of course there’s a team around any successful person but Chance’s upward trajectory is mostly fueled by his own moves and determination. Plus his rap style is too funny and clever; here he is on Sway In The Morning with a classic ‘Lil Chano’ performance.
Rappers typically rock a mean kick game and Chance is no different. Chance has been on since about 2013 but his career really started taking off when he made XXL’s 2014 Freshman Class list. Since then he’s been making that Hip-Hop money and copping hot releases. Lets take a quick stroll through some of Chance’s best kicks. Actually, Chance usually kills the entire outfit so keep that in mind when checking out how he pairs his kicks. Sometimes people forget there’s more to a look than the shoes lol.
Typical stunt with the ‘Red October”s in hand. The Yeezy II needs no introduction at this point.
Chance in the cut with 2 Chainz and Lil’ Wayne wearing the NikeLAB Air Max 1 ‘Royal’.
At this year’s iHeart Radio awards Chance showed he could hit the ‘dad fit’ with the best of ’em. Did the Adidas Yeezy 500 ‘Blush’.
When Supreme teams up with Nike they always shut it down. The red Supreme Air More Uptempo looks fantastic when paired with denim.
While performing at the iHeart Radio Awards Chance switched up his kicks to the Air Max 97 Retro ‘Metallic Gold’.
You know you’ve made it when hosting Saturday Night Live and Chance stunted in the Adidas Yeezy Wave Runners.
It’s not all about exclusive kicks, here ‘Lil Chano’ destroys this retro fit with the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Olympic Red’.
Okay, okay, okay… maybe it is all about hyped-up, exclusive, kicks. Are these Off White x Air Max 97’s the best of ‘The 10’?
There’s a theme here, Chance switches up from Jordan and Adidas Yeezy often. Here he is unboxing a new pair of Adidas Yeezy 750 ‘Chocolate’s.
Lastly a court-side classic, the Air Jordan III ‘True Blue.’
