Ewing Athletics does a lot of things right, but above all, they come correct with collabs for the real hip-hop fans across the globe. In recent memory we’ve been hit with fire releases in conjunction with deep-rooted hip-hop institutions from Death Row, Outlawz and Drink Champs… and of course, Cormega! If you’re not familiar with his music then here’s at least one track you should get very familiar with; it’s an all-time classic with Mega blessing the mic alongside NY legends Nas and Mobb Deep:

As this post’s title implies, Ewing and Cormega have worked together in the past. On their first go-around in 2017 Ewing and Cormega collaborated on a crispy 33 HI that served as a low-key stunt on that in-the-know.

Much like the 33 HIs, Cormega’s new kicks come in dressed in premium grey suede uppers, full-length EVA midsoles, and bright green translucent outsoles, but this time the spicy colorway adorns the uber comfortable Sport Lite. A super nice touch to these joints is the use of Mega’s signature where Patrick Ewing’s sig would typically be placed; it acts as a thoughtful nod of mutual respect. There’s something special about the way translucent green works with grey – it just hits different!
