Jordan 4s that Deserve a Re-Release this Year

How many people are excited about the release of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred”? The most likely answer from every sneakerhead is an emphatic YES. Although this is the 30th anniversary of the 4, there haven’t been many must have colorways recently. But don’t sleep, because we all know Nike and Jordan Brand are known to sneak something amazing in on us (always keep your SNKRS app open). Now having said that, here are a few 4s that I think deserve to see a re-release during this anniversary celebration.

“Thunder”

Last seen in 2012, this colorway is simple, yet eye-catching at the same time. With yellow being such a popular color on the Jordan 1s this year, there is no doubt that these would fly off of shelves.

“Cavs”

I’m not sure if Craig Elho would appreciate these, but I know the sneaker community would. Inspired by “The Shot” Jordan made to knock the Cavaliers out of the 1989 playoffs. What a perfect way to commemorate breaking the collective heart of an entire city. Even though these are not an OG colorway, these deserve to see another release sooner than later.

“Fear”

Signifying the fear that Jordan felt facing his opponents and the fear that he filled his opponents with is the perfect story to be told with this sneaker. With its monochrome black/white/grey look, this sneaker said so much much by doing so little. Truly one of the best non-OG colorways to ever hit shelves.

This OG colorway would be a perfect release for the spring and summer! This are a certified classic, so what else needs to be said? Let’s go ahead and add the Nike Air branding to the heel tab and call it a day! Someone, please call up the decision makers at Jordan Brand to make this happen immediately. (If you couldn’t tell, this is one of my favorite sneakers EVER!)
These particular colorways may not be slated to return anytime soon, but one can dream. Which Jordan 4s are you looking forward to this year, or which ones do you wish would make a surprise comeback.
