Stephon Marbury was drafted 4th by the Milwalkee Bucks in the 1996 NBA Draft and then traded to Minnesota Timberwolves for the rights of Ray Allen. Starbury had teamed up with Kevin Garnett to lead the Timberwolves to the NBA Playoffs in 97-98. As a rookie he had also signed an endorsement deal as the first highlight athlete to represent AND1.
