Jamal Crawford’s other stops included Golden State where he teamed up with coach Don Nelson and fit perfectly for the Run-and-Gun offense thanks to his ball handling skills, ability to stretch the floor with his shooting range and his quickness. For the Warriors he was able to average 20 points a game. While his sneakers had changed, his game didn’t. Jamal’s contract had ended with Reebok and he started wearing Nike models, mostly Hyperdunks.
Although during his time with the Warriors they didn’t qualify for the playoffs. Jamal then moved on to the Atlanta Hawks where he set a NBA record for most 4-Point plays in the fourth quarter. Jamal currently has 44 for his career and counting. Jamal also won the 6th man award while averaging 18 points a game for the Hawks. Along with backup All-Star guard Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby he helped lead the Hawks into the playoffs 2 years in a row (2009-11).
