Stephen Curry puts the ball in the bucket from deep better than anyone in history, that’s no surprise. The guy plays with cheat codes on some nights. Because of his shooting capabilities the Golden State Warriors are never really out of a game. His performance on February 27, 2016 perfectly sums why he’s so difficult to guard. Defenders have to guard Steph 30 feet away from the rim because of his limitless range. That night against the Thunder he went 12-16 on 3pt attempts to the tune of 46 points, braking his own single game record of 3-pointers made. He topped off the performance with a dagger for the ages… a pull-up 3 from Egypt. The Warriors met the Thunder in that season’s Playoffs where they demoralized OKC by coming back from a 1-3 series deficit to win the Western Conference title (LeBron would have the last laugh though).
Curry was dancing with and without the ball in his Under Armour Curry 2’s. There wasn’t an elephant in the room… there was a giraffe on his feet! The yellow based shoes featured a subtle giraffe print throughout the Speedform upper. The heel and mid-foot shank are dressed in black, which contrasts the shoe’s killer print perfectly (throw in a little blue and boom, a perfect Warriors colorway). Below are the highlights from Curry’s insane game and some detailed pictures of his Curry 2 PE. Enjoy!
