My good friend, Nick Engvall, was such a G and let me have his pair that he secured All-Star Weekend in NYC. I met Kanye that morning at adidas and that’s all I needed for this sneaker to hold a special place. The grey jawns are nice but the all-black looks way better on foot. 2/14/2015 is officially the day that adidas really started taking over the year and hasn’t looked back since.
