Stephen Curry’s timing, as usual, was perfect and executives at Under Armour probably have had a perma-smile on their face all season long. The Steve Kerr led Golden State Warriors have been killing it since the get go led by their two 2014 FIBA World Cup Champions Curry and his Splash brother Klay Thompson. Simply solidifying himself as one of the best pure shooters the world has ever seen, his skill have already given him record for most three-pointers mad in a single NBA season. Last year Curry was snatched from Nike and signed with Under Armour quickly turning into their lead basketball athlete. For the most part he has been lacing up the Under Armour ClutchFit Drive High during his time on Team USA and Warriors. That includes tonight’s victory against the Indiana Pacers where he became the fastest NBA player to 1,000 made three-pointers. It only took him 369 games destroying Denns “3D” Scott’s old record of 457 games. The achievement is made even more special as we are on the eve of the official unveiling of his first signature sneaker the Under Armour Curry One. At this pace Curry looks to be the leader in challenging Ray Allen’s all-time three-point record and it looks like he would do it in a pair of Under Armour.
