Steve Nash has beat the odds his whole life. Born in South Africa, he grew up in Canada playing soccer and hockey—it wasn’t until he was a teenager that he even picked up a ball and started to hoop. In the eighth grade he told his mother he would be in the NBA, we’re glad he didn’t have to lie to Mama Nash and has been droppin’ highlight worthy dimes and acrobatic runners ever since. Happy 41st birthday to one of the greatest point gods of all time and we hope to see you back in The Staples Center.
