Happy 25th Birthday to NBA #4barfriday Champ Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard turns 25 today and the young star has a lot to be thankful for. He’s been Rookie of the Year, he recently signed a 5 year maximum contract extension with the Portland Trailblazers, and he is now the official face of the franchise. Oh, he’s also the NBA’s #4barfriday champion and a pretty good rapper overall. Along with all those things, he is quickly becoming one of adidas Basketball’s main stars. He was signed by the three stripes to a long-term contract in 2014 worth somewhere around $100 million. Now, the benefactor of his own signature model, the star point guard has worn adidas since his time at Weber State and it doesn’t look like he’ll be wearing anything else anytime soon.

For years he wore the brand’s signature models, retros, and even Rose’s, but with his own sneaker and apparel we hope to see his star shine even more. We can’t wait to see what adidas has in store for his line from this point forward as they invested the money and time into the point guard. If Lillard remains cold-as-ice and continues to lead his young team like he has his first few years in the league, the sky’s the limit.
