Camouflage has been an essential print in the sneakerhead world for some time now, especially in the form of shorts (word to NikeTalk). Over the years, the usage of the print on sneakers have had plenty of good renditions and some bad ones. Well, back in 2006, Brian Anderson’s Nike SB Dunk High would fall into the former category.

He was not one of the original members of Nike SB’s pro team but Brian Anderson seemed to be on their radar for a long time. A pro since the 90’s and a former Thrasher Skateboarder of the Year, his star was shining bright. It especially helped that he moved from his family in Connecticut to San Francisco. His rise to the skateboarding elite was a big reason Nike SB gave him his own signature model, the Project BA.

However, before those released he was part of the second custom series and got his chance at the classic Dunk High model. Inspired by hunting, it featured urban camouflage print denim and Sable Green nubuck. The addition of orange (Safety Orange to be exact) complements the body just right. Matching the midsole with a gum outsole takes care of the exterior. On the interior, a figure wearing an “SF” belt buckle was added on an orange insole to finish off the details on this 9-year-old sneaker.
