But to end the game with the score tied at 111, it wasn’t Michael Jordan with the final shot but with the pass the secured the game. With all the attention focused on MJ, he drove towards the center block. With a half-raised hand, while hanging in mid-air for what seemed a lifetime, he threw a perfect pass right to an open teammate next to the basket. The New York Knicks dream of a win was shattered by the likes of the one and only Bill “The Beef” Wennington.

The final score of the game 113 to 111. But the game already was a stamp for not only the crowd at Madison Square Garden, but it was to let the rest of the league know to never count out Michael Jordan, ever.
