What did you accomplish by the time you were 22? Most of us were just struggling with being “adults,” so not many 22 year olds can say they have done as much as Anthony Davis. 2012 NCAA National Player of the Year and NCAA Champion, 2012 Olympic gold medalist and 2014 World Cup gold medalist are just some of his major accolades. And that was before this NBA season even started.

The “Brow” is now the face of the New Orleans Pelicans and quickly establishing himself as one of the faces of the NBA. This is thanks in part to his guard like handles (he had a major growth spurt late in high school), athleticism and skills in his 6′ 10″ body. Oh and he hits ridiculous double-pumped game-winners over the out-stretched hands of Kevin Durant. When he left Kentucky it was no surprise his college sponsor, Nike, was quick to sign him to a contract.

Through his career, Davis has worn everything from Jordan’s to special Player Exclusives of some of Nike Basketball’s major models. It would be no surprise to see him with a signature shoe, even if big man signatures have trouble selling since he isn’t the prototypical NBA “big.” So enjoy a drink or two on your 22nd Mr. Davis you deserve it. Heck in the upcoming years it wouldn’t be a surprise to be calling him Mr. MVP.
