Shadow 6000 "Light Brown/Khaki"

2022

Sneaker history

The Saucony Shadow 6000 is rooted in the brand’s 1991 high-mileage running catalog, and the Premium Suede Tan colorway translates that heritage into a clean, material-forward release. Part of the Shadow 6000 Full Suede Pack, this build layers tone-on-tone tan suede across the entire upper, using both perforated and solid suede panels to create the kind of monochromatic depth that reads well without a single contrasting hit of color on the main body. The only interruption is the light grey Saucony fan logo at the midpanel, finished with reflective print and stitching that adds a low-key technical detail without disrupting the uniform surface. Laces are white, and the midsole runs off-white into a black outsole, giving the profile a grounded base. The construction follows the standard Shadow 6000 parts list: premium sock liner, ionic cushioning system, EVA midsole, and the XT-600 triangular lug rubber outsole that traces back to the original performance runner. Style code S70662-1 retailed at $120 and released in April 2022. The Full Suede Pack sat within a broader moment for Saucony Originals in which premium material treatments, rather than loud graphics or big-name collaborations, were the primary design lever.
