The Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 originally debuted in 2010 as a stability-focused performance runner built around the brand’s ProGrid cushioning platform. That silhouette, with its rubberized cage overlays, multi-panel suede construction, and low-profile midsole, aged well enough to earn a lifestyle revival in the early 2020s under the ProGrid Omni 9 Premium banner. This particular build, the Ivory Grey Pink colorway carrying style code S70845-1, dropped on January 15, 2024, at a $150 retail price point.
The upper pairs grey engineered mesh panels with salmon-toned dusty pink suede overlays at the toe box, lateral midfoot cage, and heel counter. Light pink appears throughout the collar lining, tongue, lace loops, and flat woven laces, pulling the palette into softer territory than the more utilitarian colorways in the same Premium series. Three white speed lines ride the lateral cage in Saucony’s traditional configuration. A reinforced toe overlay in matching suede adds structure at the front without interrupting the tonal flow of the build.
The midsole is white compression-molded EVA with ProGrid geometry visible through a window at the heel, delivering the shock absorption that made the Omni 9 a stability staple in its original run. The rubber outsole uses a waffle-style lug pattern suited for road and light off-road use. Interior materials include a recycled lining and footbed, a detail Saucony incorporated across the Premium sub-line.
