Samples are always fascinating to me. On one hand, if I was making them, I’d probably be trying all sorts of weird shit that would piss off most of the traditionalist sneakerheads out there. On the other, I’d probably get fired for trying so many different things because I really believe with sneakers, you can’t judge them until you’ve seen them in person, or better yet, had them on your feet. I came across these Velour Lined Jordan 1 Laser Samples on eBay. Yes, velour lined? I even second guessed it. I’m not a huge fan of lasering but the consistency and details on this pair is top notch. The auction claims they are from 2008, long before the remastered joints were even a thought, but the quality on them appears to be next level. Although, $45,000 seems a bit steep.
