The Kyrie 3 by Nike bridged the gap between Irving’s time in Cleveland and Boston. After completing one of the most impressive comebacks in sports history against the Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals while wearing the Kyrie 2, Irving and the Cavs hoped to upset the Warriors for the second year in a row. Uncle Drew’s third signature shoe ditched the forefoot strap and extended the height up the ankle to create a streamline design. The uppers served as a blank canvas with everything from quilt to textured synthetic uppers. During the 3’s lifecycle Kyrie rocked some absolutely insane PEs.
