Sample Sunday: Anthony Hamilton

Killin’ ’emmm, R&B star Anthony Hamilton has the only set of chocolate brown Air Jordan Retros in existence. Think about that – think about all the Jordan PEs, Friends & Families and even Michael’s personal shoes… the only pairs is a pretty epic feat. As story goes, Hamilton was on a Jordan Brand trip back in 2015 and won a design competition (according to Hamilton, he had Kawhi Leonard and Carmelo Anthony on his design team) and won a design challenge, as the winners each member of the team got to choose a set of Jordans in any two colors they liked. Hamilton thought outside the box and chose to color his set in brown and gum because he’d never seen the combo on a pair of Jays. As they say “the rest is history” and now Grammy Award winner Anthony Hamilton has one of the rarest and dopest sets of Jordans on Earth.

Woke up this morning found a letter that JB wrote
Jordan said he’d keep me laced always on the road
To hard to swallow being alone
I need some Jays at night that I can hold

He must have sent me a thousand pairs before
Silent cries I use to ignore
God knows I love them
Didn’t mean to hurt ’em

I hope you found my remix of Anthony Hamilton’s Charlene it was probably a bit of a stretch but here we are. Lets take a look at some of Anthony’s chocolate Jays on this fine Sample Sunday. Which pairs would you like to see release?
