Spalding may not be your typical sneaker brand but there is no denying their connection to the game of basketball. When Jimmer Fredette was drafted by the Sacramento Kings, Spalding stepped back into the sneaker arena with two models called the Spalding Slash and Spalding Threat. Jimmer’s time on the court slowly diminished in Sacramento and Spalding’s hope for a basketball line did as well (No offense to Mario Chalmers). Jimmer ditched Spaldings for Under Armour’s ClutchFit Drive this season, but you can grab this rare pair of Spaldings on eBay.
