P-Rod Primitive Green Label

Paul Rodriguez III, not his comedian father, is better known to the world by his simple nickname, P-Rod. Today he turns the big 3-0 and doesn’t seem to be slowing down in any aspect of his life. Now a father, P-Rod is known for being a professional skateboarder but has expanded to acting, shop/brand owner and a sponsorship whore. P-Rod was not the first skateboarder signed to Nike SB, but he was the first athlete to have his own signature sneaker under the sub-brand. The first P-Rod shoe was released back in 2005 and is now on its 8th iteration, the P-Rod line is to Nike SB what the Lebron or Kobe line is to Nike Basketball. It is the first to receive new technology and advancements that eventually works into other models. Always a consistent presence in any skate competition thanks to his technical and switch skills, P-Rod is always one to watch. Wonder if we ever see his line retro as some older models and colorways are still neck-breakers.

Ohhh and enjoy one of the sweetest commercials from Nike SB too.
