2015 was an interesting year in sneakers for me. It was a year where I bought noticeably fewer sneakers than in years past, but wrote about them more than ever before.

The culture has exploded in the last few years, and 2015 was the biggest yet. From Kanye West and adidas taking over the world, to more Air Jordan retro releases than I could keep up with, 2015 was a great year to be a sneakerhead. While the sneaker culture is often flooded with negativity and trolls, it’s amazing to see how big it has become. If we all took a minute to stop crying about missing releases, blaming brands and resellers for ruining the culture, and bickering about lists, we could see how far we’ve come. Yes, “we,” as a culture. We now live in a time where big brand’s actually pay attention to sneaker nerds, and people can make a living off of their love for sneakers. Despite getting my heart broken by some releases, 2015 birthed some amazing sneakers, and here are my favorites.
