
These just released but they impressed. The original P-Rod was a sneaker I actually enjoyed. Owning a few versions, P-Rod’s original model was pretty cool for the mid-2000’s.
The original J-Rod was always elusive, especially because the price tag was rough. But the colors, details and accents were perfect. Over the years I have had a love/hate relationship with Rodriguez’s signature. But seeing them go back to the J-Rod look has made me a fan again. I couldn’t grab a pair (yet) but I love how they followed the same blocking and pattern as the original. The smooth lowtop looks more like a casual model than skate, which I’m okay with because I can’t skate worth anything.
