Takashi Murakami is just one of many whimsical artists that have influenced our culture in the past few decades. His signature style stands out like any great artists and works on many platforms. Sneakers was just the latest canvas on which his art looks good.
The Classic Slip-On LX collection consisted of six different pieces of art focusing around his smiling flowers and skulls, each different in its own way. Little details like different accents on the midsole and special insoles completed this Vans Vault collection. Also they made kids sizes, meaning as a family you could all match wearing something other than J’s.
