Before he could pass up Michael Jordan for third on the NBA all-time scoring list, Kobe Bryant had to reach 20,000 career points. And on a cold winter night in New York on December 23rd, 2007, Kobe lit up the Knicks to become the youngest to ever do it at 29 years, 112 days . Doing it in style he rocked the Nike Kobe 3 “China” on the hallowed court in Madison Square Garden. Rocking his signature kicks and loving the lights of MSG he scored a total of 39 points and he also added in 11 rebounds and 8 assists for a new triple double leading the Lakers to a win and making Spike Lee upset (again).
