Kobe Bryant’s All-Star Game Sneaker History

Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP

Kobe Bryant’s final NBA season has had some ups and some downs. We have seen flashes of old Kobe, but then missing games to rest and not being in during the fourth quarter makes us realize the harsh reality that no one beats Father Time. But as the world counts down the number of games he has left in his NBA career, we are on the eve of his last NBA All-Star game as a player.

When he played his first All-Star game in 1998, rocking his adidas during his sophomore year, he was the youngest ever to start. And since then he has been selected to take part in 18 consecutive and total All-Star games (besides 1999, when the lockout caused the cancellation). Although he missed 2010, 2014 and 2015 due to injury, he was still technically part of those teams. He will finish his All-Star career wearing Nikes and more than likely continue to hold the record for most All-Star MVP awards with Bob Pettit. He will also add to his record of total points scored and field goals made in All-Star games. So let’s look back at his All-Star game sneakers and hope the final game is memorable as well.
