Hailing from the island state, this streetwear brand has had a history of solid collaborations with various brands over the years. However, their longtime relationship with Vans has always been strong and a personal favorite was the “Rattles” Vans Chukka Low from 2012. The formula was simple, but the materials and look turned out to be a winner.
Also using the Chukka low rather than the more popular regular cut played into the Hawaiian vibes. Perfect to pair up with a pair of shorts, the sneaker was all about the snakeskin. The full snakeskin upper made the statement; metal eyelets paired up with white laces, midsole and Vans tag completed the look of the sneaker. The insoles had special snake graphics and branding along with the phrase “Don’t Tread On Me.”

Limited to only 200 units, the release of the sneaker was available from In4mation’s newest retail spot, The Human Imagination, with a few pairs made available online.
