With each signature series and the NBA’s growing promotion of culture days it has been no surprise to see each player have their own sneaker receive the Chinese New Years treatment. Kevin Durant’s fourth signature sneaker was given this striking makeup to commemorate the Year of the Dragon. The standout feature being the dragon scales on the strap. The blue dragon is representative in the Chinese culture as the protector of the East which works perfect with Durant’s DC origins. Also a perfect fit for the guy who had been slowly trying to change his image from the nice guy.
