Air Jordan 35

Eclipse Plate 2.0, AJ5 cues, and Zion’s gator-skin PE.

The Air Jordan 35 arrived in 2020 at a hundred and eighty dollars, again from Tate Kuerbis, with an upgraded Eclipse Plate 2.0 and Zoom Air in both the heel and forefoot for better energy return. It took visual cues from the Air Jordan 5, connecting the modern performance line back to a classic.

Zion Williamson’s Bayou Boys colorway, with crackled faux-gator leather and a gum sole, was the standout, and the shoe saw court time on Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic, and a roster of WNBA stars. Reviews were strong.

The 35 is a staple of the early-2020s on-court era, a reliable, well-cushioned performer. It is the line settling into a confident modern groove.
