One of the most infamous Nike SB Dunk Lows never to see a proper release. Designed around the Freddy Krueger character from A Nightmare on Elm Street, the shoe paired a red and green striped upper with a tan, weathered nubuck and unsettling blood-splatter graphics. It was pulled before its 2007 launch over rights issues, which only deepened its legend. Surviving pairs trace back to friends-and-family and sample channels, making it one of the true grails of the SB era and a constant reference point in conversations about the line at its most creative and irreverent.
