The Juice Pump 20 was the boutique’s first-ever design as a retailer. Located in Hong Kong, Juice’s Pump 20 looked completely different from the rest of the collection. Drawing inspiration from an old Pump colorway that debuted in 1989, Juice coated most of the upper of their Pump in a gold/copper/bronze sparkling metallic material. The midsole faded from that metallic color to an off-white to match the section between the midsole and the outsole. Blue accented the mudguard and outsole while chrome was utilized on the heel and Pump release.
Notable details include the clear Pump unit at the tongue and partially translucent outsole. Best of all, the white tongue, toebox, and side panel underlay that resemble leather were actually reflective material, giving this shoe just what it needed, more pop.
In my experience, the Juice Pump 20 is the hardest to come by online of the set.
