The Diamond Mine: 10 MLB All-Star Footwear Moments to Remember

Derek Jeter Air Jordan 14

Player: Derek Jeter
Shoe: Air Jordan XIV
Year: 2001

After baseball didn’t work out so well for the GOAT, Mike and the Jordan Brand still wanted to expand their sphere of influence beyond the basketball court. In 1999, they signed Derek Jeter. When he stepped up to the plate in the ’01 All-Star Game in Seattle, he was rocking cleated all-black Air Jordan XIVs, the same model Michael wore when he hit his iconic Last Shot just a few years earlier in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals.
