What do we know about Michael Finley? He played 15 seasons in the NBA? He was one of the high-flyers in the league, including his participation in 2 NBA Slam Dunk contests? He was part of the original Team Jordan members? Or was his PE (Player Edition) kicks game on point?

What we do know is that he had a very productive career in the League. From teams like the Phoenix Suns, to him flourishing as an two-time All-Star as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, finally winning a championship ring with the San Antonio Spurs, or finally ending his career with the Boston Celtics. The 6′ 7″ Guard/Forward was a force to be reckoned with coming out of University of Wisconsin (All-time leading scorer – but was passed in ’07). Michael Finley had the pleasure of guarding the league’s top players on the daily basis which including Clyde Drexler, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Manu Ginobili and the GOAT himself, Michael Jordan. But not only was his defense above standards, his offensive prowess was just as good while averaging close to 21 points a game during his prime years (’97-04 – member of the Dallas Mavericks) and a great supporting cast member for the San Antonio Spurs. We just wanted to say thank you for the memories, you’re awesome Jordan PE edition kicks and a happy birthday Michael Finley.
