Air Jordan 4 (2013)
Just like the Air Jordan 3, Nike created two versions of the Air Jordan 4 for the University of Oregon. The first to appear was the black nubuck pair. Made for the football team, these were directly inspired by the green chrome helmets the team had that year. The same paint used for the helmet was used on the heel and eyelet ends. Other unique details of the shoes included green contrast stitching and white mesh and tongue to match the midsoles. Inside of each tongue has the special message “Designed for the U of O Football Team by: Tinker Hatfield. In memory of Doug McClain.” The second pair is a white pair nicknamed the “Duckman.” This is due to the silhouette of the school’s mascot doing his best Jumpman pose. This new logo is added onto the heel and hangtag. The “O” logo appears on the tongue and the school’s signature green and yellow is featured throughout. S/O to Complex on the pics.
