Tiger Woods Turns 39, Will He Be The Best of All-Time?

Known by his family as Eldrick Tont Woods, “Tiger” remains one of the most celebrated and innovative players in the game of golf. Like Kobe Bryant, Tiger turned professional in 1996 and has basically reigned supreme since then. He has According to Wikipedia, Tiger has won 79 official PGA Tour events including 14 majors, which puts him at second place on the all-time PGA tour win list. In addition, Tiger is the youngest of 5 players to have won all four professional major championships in his career, known as the Career Grand Slam.

Though the reign of Tiger has slowed down a bit in recent years due to injuries, many believe he still have a few more PGA tour wins in him (He needs 3 to become the all-time leader). Over the years, Nike relationship with Tiger has grown and they recently released two of his most popular golf shoes, the TW’13 and TW’14. Both have received very well and were even included on Nike’s popular NIKEiD service which allows you to customize the colors of the shoe.
