House of Pain x adidas Campus 80’s
House of Pain put their own spin on the classic adidas Campus 80 and boy did they do it right. The perfect group to put a St. Patty’s Day spin on the shoe, thanks to their Irish heritage, front man Danny Boy O’Connor’s concepts was used to create the special collaboration. It’s all in the details like the band’s crest seen on the tongue and the colors of Ireland’s flag on the heel. “Fine Malt Lyrics” stitched onto the side and special insoles were also included. Deep, nappy green suede is matched with clean white leather stripes. To cap off the release Boston’s Concepts hosted a special launch party on St. Patrick’s Day in 2009.
