The limited edition Defining Moments Pack only released in select stores and Niketown locations. Nike.com did not even carry them and the Niketalk thread is 106 pages of reading if you have time to kill. The Countdown packs were good but nothing beats the original pack that started them all. Especially when you consider retail price was $294.99 ($346 in today’s money). To get a pair now you’re going to spend 3-4 times that on marketplaces like eBay and Flight Club. It might be the worth the price though, as the Defining Moments pack is indeed the gold standard of packs. And really, not much has challenged it in 10 years.
